Brief

Boxtree were appointed by a top ten insurance brokerage (Global Head of IT) who appointed Boxtree on a new PHP Development role within their large tech team. The role was complex in terms of the languages and development experience that was defined and required. This mixed with a combination of recent InsureTech experience meant that a bespoke role brief was needed, with appointment required within 4 weeks.

 

Boxtree Approach

A total of 15 candidates were identified as attractive candidates including passive and active talent currently retained with Boxtree. Two candidates successfully completed interview, technical interview and assessment before submission to the client for consideration. The interview process with our client is normally a 2-stage process. In the case of Jack, the Global Head of IT had reached the decision that a role would be created and there was no longer the necessity for a second stage interview.

 

Outcome

This offered the candidate a considerable pay increase, role for progression within his career and for longevity. Both candidate and client are happy with the headhunting and manoeuvring skills displayed.
