Boxtree Recruitment have been engaged to source a Trainee Portfolio Manager on behalf of a Wealth Management practice in the City of London



  • Conduct portfolio reviews
  • Prepare accurate and helpful meeting packs in good time for meetings and attend where required
  • Produce Portfolio Valuations and quality check them for accuracy
  • Do all actions that are assigned, by the “to do date”
  • Maintain sufficient liquidity in the portfolios, to meet the client’s needs
  • Undertake the ad hoc administration on portfolios as requested
  • Make a positive cultural contribution to company, colleagues and clients
  • Maintain client files in line with company policy
  • Use all company systems in line with laid down procedures
  • Assist in the training and development of colleagues (in the future)



  • A strong degree that is relevant to the role at trainee level or some experience in an IFA / Wealth Manager at an experienced level


Company Benefits:

Salary up to £30,000 depending on experience, DIS, 5% pension after probation passed, 22 days (increasing by 1 per annum up to max 25)
